Overview
This is a web-accessible database of glossary terms relating to subjects of sustainability and private or public environmental management into the framework of SUPPREM Project.
The aim of this tool is to provide a glossary that explains technical or jargon terms relating to development that are used in the bricks contents of SUPPREM.
This tool provides the means to manage and collect terms, definitions, links and their related sources.
Characteristics
The Supprem Glossary is a composition of terms in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish languages, related to sustainable development.
Only SUPPREM's participants can submit a term definition.
A term can have attached one or several definitions
The system provides the URL associated to one definition. It can than be used as a reference into the courses contents.
It is possible to browse the glossary by letter or by language. It is also possible to search a term definition by introducing the term and a language of research.
The definition author can be modify or remove his definition.
Operations
Search on terms: This item provides to user with a form to search a term in the glossary. The user can specify the term's language or use the default value 'Any'. The result is the set of definitions attached to the term.
Browse on terms: This operation allows to explore the terms currently defined in the glossary. The user can explore it by choosing a letter or a language.
Submit/Edit/Delete: To modify the glossary, the user must be identified as a Supprem participant by introducing his email address. After the identification he can submit the new definition, modify or delete it.
